Genera Science & Innovation was formed in 2015 – a thriving independent company with scientists, engineers, technicians and other specialists.
Genera Science & Innovation provides high calibre, independent environmental monitoring, alongside commissioning and building world-leading fumigant application and gas recovery technology. Our research laboratory has two Gas Liquid Chromatographs and an engineering and manufacturing workshop.
Our environmental research scientists and technical staff are focused on researching more effective biosecurity treatments and developing new techniques and processes to reduce emissions of fumigant gases. Their research is backed up by our environmental monitoring and fumigant recapture technicians.
In June 2018, Genera was awarded the ExportNZ Bay of Plenty Excellence in Innovation Award.
Genera has successfully developed and implemented fumigant recapture technology that is effective in recapturing fumigants used in phytosanitary treatments. Genera is a market leader, investing in recapture technology research and innovation, as well as continuing research and trials of alternative treatment solutions.
